Becoming a customer of Latvenergo AS on the market
The customer agrees with Latvenergo AS on electricity trade provisions (price, terms, etc.).
If agreement is reached, Latvenergo AS settles all formalities related to the change of status or trader.
On the 1st date of a calendar month, the trader is changed, the customer becomes a market participant and no longer has to deal with regulated tariffs for associated users. Instead deals with the electricity price, which shall be mutually agreed between the trader and the client.
After becoming a market participant, the customer pays one invoice which separately specifies the prices of electricity consumed and system services received.
