Power Supply Fault Insurance

In cooperation with insurance company BALTA  Latvenergo AS offers the free market customers a new service: Energy Risk Insurance. This is a new insurance product for legal persons to insure the equipment, products and goods of a company against various kinds of power supply-related damage and accidents.

This insurance will help companies recover unexpected financial losses from various external power supply faults, including unscheduled blackouts, long-term power supply disturbance or deviation, as well as sudden overvoltage or drop of supply voltage.

In the event of an accident, the company will be compensated for losses and expenses on production facility and structure equipment repairs or replacement, replacement of goods and raw materials, finished and unfinished products, as well as emergency operations, clean-up works and other losses.
